This database features the results of the UN Global Surveys on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation, covering 144 countries worldwide for the years 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021. The 2021 survey instrument includes 58 measures. Implementation stage for each measure is provided, as well as implementation rates for selected groups of trade facilitation measures.

The dataset was collated on 26 July 2021. Data for all years generally reflect implementation as of the first quarter of the year. Given the evolving nature of trade facilitation and paperless trade implementation, it is likely that the data change over time.
